Description: Hello.

I am interested in developing a long-term relationship with someone who can do material takeoffs for residential and commercial flooring projects.

I anticipate 15-25 takeoffs per month.

Most residential take-offs can be done in less than an hour.

I am interested in paying a maximum of $50CDN for most residential takeoffs, and a negotiable rate for multi-family or commercial takeoffs.

After I have confirmed that your work is acceptable, I am willing to pay up front for each residential takeoff. Therefore, the first one, or two will be paid afterwards.

Projects will be awarded one at a time, and will need a 24-48hr turnaround time, in most cases.

Generally, it will be basic square footage (i.e: for a wood flooring project), but often it will also be calculating the actual amount of tiles needed for a project.
If you are capable to do more detailed work than that, it would be a bonus.

I will provide blueprints or detailed sketches via email in whatever format works best. I will also provide an example of what I need your takeoff to look like.

This would be a good job for someone with AutoCad, although I don't personally use it.

Ultimately, I need someone who is DETAILED AND ACCURATE - for obvious reasons.

Customer Base:

Design Vi8ion’s current customer base is a series of high profile clients with significant investments in the Entertainment, Recreation and Hospitality Industry.  Design Vi8ion is committed to continually expanding its customer base via recommendation from current clients, by referral from its partners and via aggressive marketing campaigns and strategies focussed on the Asia Pacific region.  Currently our main clients are based in China and South East Asia.

Target Audience:

Design Vi8ions target audience for this project is both males and females aged between (but not limited to) 18 – 35.  This audience would be primarily made of locals from within Asia as well as tourists from around the world.  This demographic would also include employees, local residents and tourists with a range of spending habits and incomes.

Overview:

Provide a number of computer aided graphic designs for the Night Club Interior based on the floor plan provided including but not limited to; Design of the bar area, Design of the DJ and VJ booth, Design of the seated booth area’s and VIP Balconies.  Design of Custom furnishings.  Provide an outline of the materials, finishes, furnishings and decor.  

Design Theme:

Seven, 7, Chinese Character for 7 (Clubs Name).

Design Specifications:

Where possible a majority of the surfaces should be soft/padded surfaces to minimise sound reflection and increase sound absorption.

Simple, Clean organised design to minimise budgetary impact.

Provision in the front of the DJ booth for Subwoofer accommodation 1400 x 3000 x 800mm (HxWxD).

Utilisation of one of the venues sponsor’s (Mild Seven Cigarettes) logo in the venue design.  It must be evident but visually appealing without being overstated or too obvious.  It should be tasteful not a blatant marketing pitch or advertisement.  

The use of the colour blue should be evident to help support the sponsor’s presence in the interior Design of the venue.

Some privacy in the booth areas is required without obstructing the view of the club from the booth when seated.  The booths must also be open air to the rest of the venue so as not to obstruct the sound and lighting and atmosphere of the venue from entering the seated booth area’s.

As this venue will be constructed in Asia it is important that the number of individual tables to seat 4 – 6 people be maximised as patrons do not pay to enter the venue, they pay to sit at a table or in a booth.  (The Larger the table the higher the minimum spend on drinks for their table/booth). (See examples in the floor plan).

Description: For my house that is being built in Kerala,India, I need help visualizing thru detailed plans and renderings w layouts and materials/fixtures etc locations, and cabinets etc for: 5 Bathrooms, 4 dressing rooms, etc.
 
Using some of my ideas and type of materials etc that I like, of which I can provide pictures/links etc as examples, I would like the designer to share ideas and materials etc to produce the full set of plans and renderings.  These should be such that my contractor/his subs can follow them to build the same accordingly.  

I have the CAD file of the full home plan/lay as provided by my contractor, which can be used to work on the bathrooms and dressing rooms, etc.
